Position: Merchandiser

Job Purpose
To provide quality merchandising service to customers, through order coordination and follow-up, to assist in the achievement of company’s business objectives. 

Job Description: 
1. Follow up orders with factories, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery the goods. 
- Review Purchase Orders
- Obtain quotations from and negotiate price with vendors
- Monitor and check production status
- Resolve conflicts between buyers and factories, e.g. Delivery delay; Claim
- Solving the emergent problem during the order follow-up process
- Aggressive and willing to invest time and energy to grow business. 

2. Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customer’s quality and budget requirements. 
- Source material or accessories
- Source new vendors
- Provide advice on design and samples to meet customer’s requirements

3. Maintain strong business relationships with vendor for product development and production 
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with factories
- Evaluate factory’s capability 
- Keep track of factories’ performance

4. Arrange sample submission to customer for approval
- Inspect samples
- Pack and send samples

5. Perform other duties as assigned by Management (if you would like to be Senior MD)

6. Daily report to supervisor: 

Job Requirements:
 Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written English;
 Computer Skills: Able to use office software (Word, Excel, PPT or InDesign etc.) professionally. 
 Strong in various product knowledge on Home Textile. 
 Strong teamwork spirit and have flexibility for daily work, accept frequent travelling;
 It would be considered in priority if the candidate has good quality/production background;
 Good reputation in the industry;
